Had a late night last night? You must have missed the highlight of this year’s Super Bowl: the half-time performance. This performance is the most-watched event on television in the US annually, where the hottest singers give hair-raising performances of their hits. In the past, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, Prince, and other big names in music have sung on the field.
This year’s lineup is impressive. Beyonce slays a few days after releasing the music video of her single “Formation,” and she is joined by Bruno Mars and Coldplay. In the 13 minute video, they sing “Yellow (Coldplay), “Viva la Vida” (Coldplay)”A Sky Full of Stars (Coldplay), “Adventure of a Lifetime” (Coldplay), “Uptown Funk” (Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars), “Formation” (Beyoncé), and “Clocks/Fix You (Coldplay). Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars then get together to sing “Up&Up.”
