Uni-verses is a multimedia portrait of you, me and our place in time. Visual arts and fiction lovers get to witness the story unfold in the following mediums: film, theater, radio drama, video art, spoken word poetry, fictional documentary, photography, and live music. This multimedia show is a collaboration among exceptional creatives. It will be brought to life by actors who have performed major roles on stage, and online media.
Our story will cover the complexities of different relationships, grief, healing, newfound love, and just about anything that make us feel alive and more connected than we think. Both as separate stories, and as a collective whole, Uni-verses will highlight the idea that we, humans, are each other’s consequences.
It will run at 8:00 pm on January 6, and January 7, 2017 at Pineapple Lab, the metro’s favorite creative hub. This is located at 6071, R. Palma Street, Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City. The 500-peso ticket includes entrance to our walk-through exhibit in the gallery, the entire multimedia performance, and a complimentary drink. Tickets can be purchased with a discounted price of Php 400 by the following: Students, Fresh Grads, and PWDs/Senior Citizens.
Alessandra “Cess” Dalmas produced this as a flagship project of Performance Lab. The company is a production collective that has been offering spaces, multidisciplinary performing arts training, and creative services for two years. It is a studio with a twofold foundation: The arts encourage critical thinking and empathy that are both necessary for individual and societal growth; All disciplines of art complement and reinforce each other. This coming 2017, the marriage of these elements will commence with Uni-verses.
