The past few days, a variety of news about the recent VMAs have been going around the worldwide web. One of which was Nicki Minaj’s bold confrontation with Miley Cyrus. However, watching the VMAs earlier today, what we couldn’t help but notice was all of Miley’s strange, bold and maybe somewhat creative outfits. Every time she came out, she was wearing something new!
1. Miley arrived at the VMAs wearing barely anything. Just a short preview of what’s to come.
2. She then started the show with this colorful jumpsuit which sort of reminded us of Brazil’s festivities. We initially taught, “okay, not bad. It’s Miley after all.”

3. Then, she walked out in this cut-out winter/pom-pom dress (we’re just making up names as you can see) which just about covered the areas that needed covering.

4. Ironically, she comes out in this outfit as Nicki Minaj starts badmouthing her. Eyes for her top and Lips for her bottom.

5. Oh, was this what you meant when you asked us to wear a button down shirt? Cute but a little too extreme for our taste.

6. This one was one of the less daring outfits for the night. Pink trousers, pink semi-bra, pink shades with pink hair.

7. After Justin Bieber’s dance number with him “floating” on air, Miley then comes out in a coat which seems to be made of tinsel, and soon after removes it to reveal her famous leotard.

8. Miley Cyrus, as crazy as she may be, deeply supports the LGBT community and even founded the HAPPY HIPPIE FOUNDATION to support teens who may feel lost and confused.  To further show that love, Miley came out wearing the LGBT flag.

9. Then she comes out looking like a walking disco ball with a shiny and less revealing outfit. Not sure if those are actual pants though.

10. And for her final performance, and final outfit, she came out in this…. tight… colorful… uhm, yeah we’re not really sure what to call this. It looks like she tried to combine all her outfits into this piece.
