Quiznos Philippines: The First to Offer Rice Bowl Meals

By on January 17, 2013

When in Manila and craving for the yummiest all-American toasted subs, there’s no place that does it like Quiznos—who’s first branch opened last September in Bonifacio High Street, and was immediately followed by its branches in Greenbelt 3, Alabang Town Center, Eastwood, and pretty soon in Katipunan and Shangri-La Mall.

Dr. Amable Aquiliz IX, CEO of the ACA Group, recognized the importance of rice and how it cannot be separated from our culture. In terms of rice consumption, the Philippines places as the 6th largest in the world—which is why Quiznos Philippines is the first Quiznos franchise to offer a variety of five delicious rice bowl meals—Chicken and Mushroom, Braised Beef, Beef in Soy Lemon Sauce, Chicken Oriental, and the all-local flavor of Chicken and Pork Adobo. Each bowl is served hot and tasty, and in generous portions priced at P115.

Last Thursday, January 10, Quiznos Greenbelt treated my parents and I to these wonderful rice bowls, as well as their best-selling subs. The first time I tried Quiznos was in September, just days after their first branch’s opening, and I really enjoyed the subs my friend and I ordered. In the same month, I visited Quiznos again to try their other subs. My favorite would definitely be the Double Cheese Cheesesteak under the Savory Steak selections.

Aside from that, I also like their chocolate fudge cookies—especially when microwaved or heated! It’s the kind of chewy that compels you to buy a second or third piece—just because one isn’t enough.

When in Manila, visit Quiznos to get a taste of the toasted subs everyone’s been talking about!
