Netizen Shares Experience with Emergency Hotline #117: Free, Quick & Efficient

She immediately called #117 as she has countless times in the past when she faced emergencies.  She says that the hotline number is quick and efficient and responds to your emergency at once.

She also notes that sometimes our citizens hesitate to call our emergency numbers because they don’t believe in the power of calling an ambulance. They would likely to resort to hiring a jeepney, tricycle and other filipino vehicles to transport the patient to the hospitals.

She also adds that if you do not know the emergency number of the philippines and dial 911 instead, you will automatically be redirected to 117.
