At first glance, you might think that this Filipina model is the current internet sensation and Wonder Woman star, Gal Gadot. It’s not really surprising given that they both have gorgeous faces that can light up anyone’s day.

But hey, Jasmine Maierhofer, a 26-year-old Filipina model, is a Wonder Woman in her own right. And yes, let us tell you upfront that she’s more than just a pretty face. Luckily, we scored an exclusive interview where she shared her thoughts and a few tips on beauty, health, and career.
What do you do?
I do modeling as full time. I’ve been a decade in the modeling industry, I’ve done shows and shoots here and internationally. Recently, when I was in Milan, I’ve got a chance to do the showroom for Valentino and I also became part of Tod’s video campaign for their social media.
Sometimes, when our shoot or show is held out of town or country, I do vlogging on the side just for fun.
How do you balance being a model and a vlogger?
Whenever I have no work, I usually plan a trip somewhere I haven’t been and start capturing. Travel vlogging is just a passion of mine, I just love taking footages of my trips, so when I grow old, I have tons of videos to playback as memories.
What’s your favorite local destination?
Palawan, I Â fell in love with its rawness – nature, beach, crystal clear water, etc. I encourage every foreign friend to never miss Palawan when they go to the Philippines.
International?
Austria- not just because it’s my father’s country. But because it took my breath away the moment I passed by the long roads with the view of Alps everywhere so close to me. It felt like I was floating, mouth opened all throughout the trip. And you can see the houses standing on a different level in the mountain. So cool, so peaceful, and you walk a little, there’s the river and everyone is so friendly. That’s the reason why they live a long life. Living with nature is the key to a happy long life.
Do people tell you that you look like Gal? How do you feel about it?
Yes, most of my friends say that I have an angle that looks like Gal. It’s a compliment of course.
What’s your beauty routine?
I always drink water ( a piece of reminder from my father ). I also smile a lot because staying happy and being worry free keeps you young inside and out. I have an intimate relationship with my skin, I handle it with care through regular check up and treatment with my derma.
Any tips for people who would also like to pursue their passions?
Always pray about your dreams, have faith, and always pursue what your heart truly desires because it’s God’s way of telling which direction to take. Use your gifts/talents. Take care of your body because it is a gift and we should return the favor to the creator by handling it with full care and using it for His greatness.
Any future plans/projects?
I’m just following where He is leading me. May his will be done always. Godspeed
