New year’s eve is a staple for festivities in Pinoy households. From the Media Noche to amazing firework displays, everyone seems to be celebrating this holiday, when in Manila. But, to our furry friends, this can be the most terrifying time of the year. Most often than not, dogs and cats are extra sensitive to loud noises hence all the new year fireworks can be very stressful for them. Pet Haven Animal Shelter has a suggestion:

This is a DIY thundershirt. It’s supposed to help calm dogs in storms and fireworks – maybe worth a try.
Personally, I’m not sure if this works but it’s worth a try! What do you think?
