Earlier this year, I wrote an article about Coldplay coming to the Philippines in 2017. I wrote that the Mall of Asia Arena had already been booked for it, though the papers hadn’t been signed yet. Sadly, a lot of people reacted violently and ganged up on me back then, claiming that I was making up false news because I couldn’t reveal my sources.
Well, today is the day I finally get to scream about it to the world with the utmost confidence because COLDPLAY HAS FINALLY CONFIRMED THEIRÂ CONCERT IN MANILA. (This has also been confirmed by MMI and Globe Telecom, and various concert websites have posted about it, as well; so I think it’s safe to say this time that yes, THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING, GUYS!!!)
People in Manila have been begging Coldplay to come to the Metro for a concert for a long time now, so it isn’t any surprise that all of the news on our Timeline is about this concert.
The tickets are priced as follows: Php22,500 for VIP; Php17,500 for Platinum; Php12,500 for Gold; Php7,500 for Silver; Php3,500 for Bronze; and Php1,800 for General Admission. Tickets will be available from November 24 onwards at SM Ticket Outlets and online at smtickets.com. We’re pretty sure they’ll get sold out fairly quickly, though, so make sure you buy yours on the first day!
