The poll reportedly surveyed 1,200 registered voters, as they were asked the question:

“Kasama dito si Rodrigo Duterte bilang isang substitute candidate sa Presidente. Sa mga sumusunod na pangalan sa listahang ito, sino po ang malamang ninyong iboboto bilang PRESIDENTE NG PILIPINAS, kung ang eleksyon ay gaganapin ngayon? ” (“Rodrigo Duterte is on this list as a substitute candidate for President. Among the names on this list, who would you most likely vote for president if the elections were held today?”)

Digong led the polls at 38 percent, with Senator Grace Poe and VP Jejomar Binay coming in second at 21 percent each. DILG Secretary Mar Roxas got 15 percent, and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago with 4 percent, with 1 percent of the respondents still undecided.

For the upper and middle classes (ABC), Duterte swept the polls as he led with a whopping 62 percent!

SWS conducted the survey from November 26-28, just days after Duterte announced that he will be running for president.

For Vice President, Senator Chiz Escudero led the polls at 30 percent, followed by Senator Bongbong Marcos at 24 percent, and Senator Alan Cayetano at 21 percent. Rep. Leni Robredo came in fourth at 12 percent, Senator Gringo Honasan at 6 percent, and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV at 5 percent.
