One of the biggest K-pop events just happened at the Mall of Asia Arena last September 3 as MBC Music Show Champion filmed their 200th episode in Manila! Performers included the lovely girls of Gugudan, Sonamoo, and AOA, together with talented boy groups ASTRO, VIXX, B.A.P., M&D, and BTS.
Here are our top five favorite moments from the concert:

5. When Comedian Kim Shin-Young Suddenly Appeared
Since Kim Shin-young was not listed as one of the guests, most of us didn’t know that she would be one of the MCs that night. Seeing her was one sweet surprise!
Kim Shin-young is known for her hosting stints in Happy Together Season 3, and Invisible Youth Season 2, among others.
4. When AOA stole the stage with their sexy performance of “Like A Cat”
Park Choa, Shin Jimin, Seo Yuna, Seo Youkyung, Shin Hyejeong, Kwon Mina, Kim Seolhyun, and Kim Chanmi opened the stage with their current promotional song “Good Luck.” The girls then sang one of my personal favorites, “Heart Attack.” Looking sexy as usual, AOA turned heads when they danced to their last song, “Like A Cat.”
3. When ASTRO danced to “Pak Ganern!”
During their spiels, the members of boy group ASTRO suddenly did something totally unexpected: Cha Eun-woo, Yoon San-ha, Moon-bin, Rocky, MJ, and Jin Jin danced along to the “Pak Ganern” song! (Who taught them how to do this?!?)
The boys also sang their song “Breathless.” I have to admit: one member was definitely a scene stealer: His name is Cha Eun-woo, and he is this beautiful.
How is it possible to be this good-looking? (I cry.)
2. When BTS performed a near-perfect version of “Save Me”
Their rendition of “Fire,” “Dope,” and “Fun Boys” was flawless, too. Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook killed the stage with their energy and dopeness.
How can they be so talented? BTS is one of my favorite groups at the moment, so seeing them perform live, and getting the chance to meet them in the flesh are things that I will always be thankful for. (I have already replayed fancams of their “Save Me” performance countless times!)
1. When Super Junior’s Heechul sang Rokkugo (it was #LEGENDARY!)
If you told the 14-year-old me that I would be meeting a Super Junior member up-close someday, she would be beyond happy! Add the fact that member Heechul sang Super Junior-T’s “classic” trot song “Rokkugo,” (a song originally sang by Super Junior’s sub-unit composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, and Kangin,) and I’d be jumping in glee.
Heechul was one of the MCs that night, but he also shared the stage with TRAX’s Jungmo to perform a couple of songs through their sub-unit M&D.
