“Pandak”, “Liit”, “Bansot”, “Dwende”, “Bata batuta”, you’ve heard them all. People need to get more creative in their insults these days. Oh, and did I say “as a child”? It still persists up to adulthood, and you’re basically immune to all of them at this point.

 

12. People lifting you and patting you on your head without your permission.

Especially when you have really tall guy friends who walk past you and randomly pat your head, like they’re amazed they know someone tall enough to be an armrest. And the lifting! One minute you’re minding your own business, the next thing you know, you’re being hurled into the air and swung around. Pagpapasa-pasahan ka pa. Guys, boundaries? Lack of height does not equate to lack of personal space.

 

11. You still jump when the clock strikes midnight every New Year.
