I don’t know about you; but ever since quarantine started, things have changed drastically in my family in terms of our eating habits. Since most restaurants were closed during the beginning of quarantine and couriers weren’t even allowed into our village for a time; we had to rely mostly on cooked meals, no matter how busy our days were. It was quite an adjustment, but one that we try to continue to maintain even now that restaurants are slowly reopening nearby.
As much as possible, we want to avoid ordering fast food. However, we still want to enjoy good food that is different from what we are able to make at home. We’re glad to have found some of our favorites at Yoyow’s.
Growing up in a family with a long history of getting into business and as Filipinos who have a great liking to eating, Yoyow’s is a long awaited pet project that has finally come to fruition. Although Yoyow’s first went live in 2018, they are now back with a renewed support from the whole family, a reliable workforce, and an awesome e-commerce website. Yoyow’s is here to deliver our all-time favorite Filipino food right to our doorsteps. Our current top picks? Their delicious Frozen Crispy Bagnet and Seafood Pasta Sauce!
My mom and I are huge fans of bagnet, and Yoyow’s Frozen Crispy Bagnet is exactly what we were craving. I’ll have to admit: we were actually a bit worried at first that we wouldn’t be able to recreate the kind of crispy-on-the-outside and soft-in-the-inside bagnet that we love; but thanks to the guidance of Yoyow’s platform, we were able to obtain a perfect golden, tasty, and crispy bagnet with their frozen items.
This is how:
1. Preheat oil in a deep fryer in medium heat.
2. Place the frozen bagnet in it for 13 t0 14 minutes until golden brown.
3. Let the bagnet cool for 2 minutes.
4. Set the deep fryer to high heat and cook the bagnet again for 1 minute.
Top tip: Eat this with Yoyow’s Sukang Tu’ka. They have it in original and spicy, so just choose the one that suits your preferences best.
As for my dad and my daughter, they’re absolute suckers for pasta. My dad loves his pasta with seafood, while my daughter loves her pasta sauce extra creamy. We were delighted to find out that Yoyow’s Ready to Eat Seafood Pasta Sauce has both – and in the best way, too.
One of my dad’s biggest pet peeves is ordering seafood pasta just to find that there are only two tiny pieces of shrimp on it. We didn’t have that problem with Yoyow’s at all because their Seafood Pasta Sauce does not scrimp on seafood in any way. In fact, every time we took a scoop, there was seafood there. And to my daughter’s delight, the sauce was ultra creamy and oh-so-delicious – definitely something we wouldn’t mind ordering again and again.
The best part is that it makes life so much easier. All you have to do is heat the sauce and add it to any pasta of your choice, and you can start enjoying a rich seafood flavor that feels like it came fresh from the sea.
Yoyow’s is aware of how disappointing it is not to be available to enjoy eating our favorite dishes along with our family and friends. That is why they decided that this is the perfect time to continue what they started. You can get your Yoyow’s orders picked up via Grab or Lalamove for same-day delivery. They also offer Cash on Delivery for Metro Manila with a delivery fee of Php100. Plus, if you order food worth at least Php2,000; the delivery fee is free!
