For 28 years, Youth on the Rock (YTR Youth Organizations Inc.) has been raising a generation of Godly, patriotic, and excellent leaders who are transforming campuses, communities, and the nation. Founded by Rodolfo Española in 1997, YTR has grown from a vision sparked by a simple newspaper article into a nationwide socio-civic movement equipping youth to live with purpose, build healthy relationships, and become agents of positive change.
This year, YTR marks its anniversary with “BIDA: Be the Change!” — a one-day celebration honoring YTR communities that have become safe spaces for spiritual growth, leadership development, and nation-building. The event highlights that these young leaders and their communities are the true “BIDA”—the heroes shaping a brighter future for the Philippines today, not just tomorrow.
Through creative storytelling, 3-minute community documentaries, and a fair-style exhibition, “BIDA: Be the Change!” will:
Honor and recognize outstanding YTR communities that have made significant impact in their respective areas.
Showcase real stories of transformation and leadership, inspiring young people to discover their purpose and calling.
Encourage partnership and collaboration, providing opportunities for schools, organizations, and individuals to connect with YTR’s mission.
These activities will celebrate how YTR communities live out the organization’s core belief: when young people are empowered to overcome struggles and grounded in a relationship with God and the right mentors, they can change their world. The event will also serve as a platform to engage new partners who share the same passion for equipping the next generation.
