Brace yourselves: three planets are in retrograde this week.
Although we can rest easy knowing that Mercury won’t be in retrograde until the following month, the planets Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter will be—and this grand celestial event will certainly have an intense effect on our energies.
The first retrograde will be Saturn (May 11) which rules our inner authority, self-discipline, focus on our long-term goals. As a result, we’ll be feeling more disorganized and doubtful of ourselves. To combat this, we must stay focused on the end goal and properly reflect on each step we take to get there.
The second will be a Venus Retrograde (May 13) which will annoyingly toy with our emotions. During this time, expect your love life to be in disarray, old wounds to reopen, and to not be able to spot red flags while virtually dating. This retrograde will also affect how we feel about the way we look and, if we’re not careful, it may lead us to make bad hair decisions. (Like cutting your own bangs.)
The final one will be a Jupiter Retrograde (May 14) which will influence our growth, our confidence, and our positive mindset. It’s actually not going to be as bad as you may think it is because, during this period, you are encouraged to take a step back and reflect on how your life has been going thus far, what you’ve learned, and what you should be grateful for. Make the most out of this opportunity to gain a new perspective on life and be inspired to learn more, explore more, and be more.

Aries (March 20 to April 19)
Obstacles keep getting in the way of your plans and you’re worried that all the time you’ve spent working hard has become a waste. Though it may seem difficult to adjust to these setbacks, you must not let it crush your spirit. Have confidence and faith in your capabilities, and strength to accept that things won’t always go according to plan. Keep moving forward!
Taurus (April 19 – May 20)
Always know where you’re investing your time and efforts so that they don’t go to waste. Acting on impulse is not a risk you should be taking right now. Take it one step at a time; you’re bound to make mistakes along the way, but don’t let it completely overwhelm you. Be open to failing so that you may learn and grow, and don’t forget to ask for help when you need it.
Gemini (May 20 – June 21)
Through all the challenges you may face in the coming days, you must not let your emotions get the better of you. Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
You feel so out of luck lately and it’s causing your self-esteem and motivation to plummet. During times like this, you need to analyze your situation, see what had caused these hurdles to happen, and find out if they could have been prevented. Leo (July 22 – August 23)
