With their next update, Instagram is rolling out a new feature that could soon change the game for ‘gramming: posting 10 photos at once with Instagram galleries.
Instagram galleries will show off up to 10 photos in a carousel-style gallery, already redefining the singular shot that the app was once known for.
The multi-posts are marked by a small icon and a series of blue dots below the first image.
You can edit each photo individually, or edit everything using one filter. You can only use one caption for the entire set, and every picture must be square.
The new feature has attracted both fans and detractors alike, with its naysayers claiming that the new feature defeats the purpose of Instagram.
