We all fell in love with Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson in Mr. Robot, where he plays a a cybersecurity engineer and hacker who has social anxiety disorder and depression. He’s now back, this time on the big screen in Buster’s Mal Heart, where he plays a night-shift concierge at a hotel. His schedule takes a toll on his psyche, and he imagines himself lost at sea. It sounds a little weird, but you can now watch the first five minutes of the film and see where it’s headed:

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last September and was received well. According to Screen Anarchy, the film is “weirdly wonderful and wonderfully weird,” while Birth Movies Death said that it is “touching and terrifying.”

The film is directed by Sarah Adina Smith and co-stars DJ Qualls and Kate Lyn Sheil.
It is set to premiere on April 28, 2017.
