Beyonce pretty much shook the world for two things: first, for her Netflix documentary Homecoming of her 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performance, and second, for the relaunch of her 2016 album Lemonade in all streaming platforms online.
Previously, Lemonade has only been made available online via members-only service Tidal of which Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have partial ownership. Now, anyone can listen to it for free on all major music streaming services!
Following the wide release, the album has re-entered the Top 10 Albums of Billboard 200, taking the ninth spot and trailing behind Homecoming: The Live Album which sits at fourth place.
Lemonade has also subsequently earned 30,000 equivalent album units.
Queen Bey has yet to explain her decision to share the album to the public three years since it dropped, but one thing’s for sure: we’re ready to start “lemonading.”
