YIKES: Car smashed by a huge rock in Kennon Road (near Baguio)

Literally caught between a rock and a hard place. Tsk.

June marked the start of the rainy season in the country, and for the past couple of days, two typhoons flew in the country. Landslides and other accidents of nature are inevitable, especially for mountainous areas, so one must be extra wary and vigilant when making trips.

Motoring journalist James Deakin shared it on his Facebook page how he was informed that travelers miraculously survived the fall of a rock on the roof of their sports utility vehicle last weekend.

Another broadcaster, Erwin Tulfo, shared it on his Facebook page that it happened on June 17 at 11 in the morning.

As of writing, many have indicated and recommended to take Marcos Highway going to and from Baguio.

Drive safely, everyone!
