YFC North A: 10 years of grace, blessings and victories

MANILA, Philippines – CFC Youth for Christ North A Sector successfully concluded its 10th Sector Conference entitled Grasya with the carrying verse from Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Last September 25, 2016 held at St. Joseph College of Novaliches, Inc.
With an estimated of 900 hearts comprised of youth members, leaders, CFC and YFC coordinators and even non-community members, all together worshipped the Lord and made a strong statement to live the YFC life. Truly indeed, it has been always the grace of the Lord for YFC North A.
One of the event highlights was the Creative Competitions which include Acapella, Band, Set and Solo Dance, and Infomercial. The youth expressed their own grace through their God-given talents and showcased astonishing performances which made them ignite the passion in their hearts that there is more to life than just living.
The event also celebrated the Holy Eucharist and covered sessions which focused on the graces of the Lord in our lives. The first session entitled Grace of God’s Assurance, talked about how the Lord gives us an assurance if we just remain and trust in Him, that His grace will overflow in our lives. The second session, Obstacles to His Grace, gave us a reminder that the dangers of letting our human tendencies to work in our lives will build walls and hinder God’s grace to enter in our lives. The third session entitled Redemption encouraged us to believe in ourselves, that God is not after our past that He is more excited for the journey He prepared for us. The sessions were imparted with spoken words delivered by some youth leaders and were concluded by a praisefest.
