The long wait is over! After more than two years of online activities, now is the time to go out and BE ON BOARD in celebrating fun, faith, freedom, and friendship once again together with the community!
For the first time ever, YFCs from all over Metro Manila will be having a General Assembly as a culminating celebration of God’s love to YFC Metro Manila for the past two difficult years of the pandemic situation. The pandemic never stopped the mission of YFC to be and bring Christ wherever they are. But it is an all the more fitting culmination to once again enjoy the delight of praising God together with other YFCs in the physical setting.
Titled, ON BOARD, YFC MMGA 2022 is a call to REJOICE, to PRAY, and to GIVE THANKS in Jesus Christ. Anchored on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, the event continues to remind YFC Metro Manila that nothing can stop God’s faithful love and grace, which abounds all the more even after the challenges and blessings – indeed in all circumstances – experienced during the pandemic. God’s amazing grace indeed is the cause of celebration, the cause of thanksgiving of every participant towards this encounter with Christ.Â
On November 20, the general assembly will gather over 2,500 YFCs, CFC members, and guests as an opportunity for YFC Manila to once again encounter one another in joy, building friendships with fellow YFCs, to savor God’s message to every individual and to the community through the session, and to experience the joy of faith and mission together to celebrate Christ’s faithfulness in their lives.
YFC Metro Manila is full of joy and hope as it anticipates to take into reality its vision of young people being and bringing Christ wherever they are and to the world in the breakthrough of the New Normal. ON BOARD MMGA 2022 is God’s testimony of his faithful love and abounding grace to YFC Manila – now and forever.
