Yeng Constantino Angers Fans With a Facebook Post About Her Cat
When Yeng Constantino posted on Facebook about her cat Julia, who is in the hospital, some netizens were quick to criticize the singer.
According to the post, “4AM palang dito sa L.A., two hours palang din ang tulog ko. Siguro kasi nasobrahan sa tulog nung nasa eroplano or dahil nasa ospital ang pusa ko. Long day pa naman mamaya. Please pray for Julia, my cat, nasa vet na sya na-confine sya eh. Bukas daw baka okay na siya.”
Since posting, the post has 61,395 likes, 78 shares, and 605 comments.
According to Dante, “Pusa lang yan. Tumulong ka na lang, Yeng, sa mga kababayan natin na nasa ospital, marami diyan walang pambili ng gamot. Mas mahalaga ang buhay ng tao kaysa buhay ng pusa, diba?”
(It’s just a cat. Just help our countrymen who are in the hospital and who can’t afford medicine. Human lives are more important than cat lives)
According to Santos and Charlez Keiht, “don’t worry, pusa lang yan” and “pusa lang yan!”

However, it seems like there are more Yeng fans who support the singer and her cat.
Estrella said, “Lang? That “lang” you are talking about is created by God, bro! Pusa man yan, may buhay na pwedeng isalba! Talking about tulong, how well do you know kung anong tulong ang ginagawa ni Yeng sa mga nangangailangan? For sure silent worker yan dahil galing din sa hirap ang batang yan.”

Cristina also came to Yeng’s defense, saying, “Saan ka humuhugot ng lakas ng loob para sabihin yan? Ikaw ba nagawa mo na ang tumulong? Okay kung nagawa mo na, bakit kailangan mong diktahan ang iba na gumawa nun. Hindi man siya tumutulong specifically sa mga nasa ospital, I know naman na may iba siyang way para gawin yun. Prayer is enough and is the most powerful thing na pwede niyang ibigay sa kanila. Hindi sa lahat nang pagkakataon pera ang kasagutan sa problema. Pasensya, kuya, insight ko lang yan since hindi natin kilala si idol Yeng personally. But she’s a Christian at mataas ang tingim ko sa kanila because they have their God. Peace at God bless.”
(Where do you get the strength to say that? Have you tried helping? It’s okay if you’ve done it, but why do you have to dictate others to do it? She may not personally help those in the hospital, but I know she has a different of doing it. Prayer is enough and is the most powerful thing that she can give. Money does not solve everything. Badetsky wasn’t so civil towards those negative commenters. She said, “Sana sa next life mo, daga o ipis ka “lang” kasi mas importante ang ibang nilalang kaysa sa tulad mo. Kung ako rin lang mas tutulong ako sa hayop kaysa sa tao na mabait lang pag may kailangan sayo.”

Paul’s comment seems to sum up the rest of the people who defended Yeng and her cat. He posted, “Una, lahat ng nasa mundo ay galing sa Diyos at binigyang buhay. Pangalawa, bakit kailangang udyukin o utusang tumulong si Yeng? Kung tulong lang, marami na syang naibigay. E ikaw?”
