It premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival on May 2, 2019, followed by a release on October 9, 2020. It has won 13 awards, including the People’s Choice Best Overall Feature at the 23rd Vancouver Asian Film Festival in 2019 and the Special Jury Prize at the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival.
