Wiz Khalifa, Rapper of See You Again, is Coming to the Philippines

Now’s your chance to tell Wiz Khalifa about your long day, because you’ll be seeing him in Manila soon.

Khalifa was announced to be part of the official lineup of the Paradise International Music Festival, joining Kanye West and other acts on April 9, 2016.

The American rapper achieved fame in 2012 for his debut single “Black and Yellow” from the album Rolling Papers. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard 100. This was followed by the albums O.N.I.F.C. and Blacc Hollywood, which both met considerable success.

Some of his well-known songs “Payphone” with Maroon 5, “Young, Wild & Free” with Snoop Dog and Bruno Mars, and “Remember You” with The Weeknd.

But Khalifa is best known for “See You Again,” his collaboration with Charlie Puth and the lead single from the album Furious 7, the soundtrack to the movie Furious 7. It was nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Paradise International Music Festival will be held at Aseana City Open Grounds in Pasay City.

Khalifa and West will be joined by DJ Afrojack, Rudimental, Austin Mahone, DJ RIvero, 4th Impact, and The Airplane Boys, and local acts Up Dharma Down, Hale, Itchyworms, Yolanda Moon, Maude, Lenses, Giniling Festival, Jessica Milner, Clara Benin, Katsy Lee, Joyce Pring with DJ Nina, and Cheats.
