There are still people who can’t accept that Miss Philippines-Universe candidate Pia Wurtzbach won the title crown, and Wikipedia is not having it.
On the day of the ceremony, fans of Miss Colombia Ariadna MarÃa Gutiérrez Arévalo kept changing the Wikipedia page of Miss Universe 2015 and announcing her as the winner.
During the ceremony, host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Arévalo as the winner, with Wurtzbach as the first runner-up. It was supposed to be the other way around.
At the top of the Wikipedia page, editors of the online and open encyclopedia said, “The final winner is Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach. Please do not change it back to Miss Colombia.”
