In case you’ve been wondering why Camila Mendes and Charles Melton, who both star in the series ‘Riverdale’ (as Veronica Lodge and Reggie Mantle, respectively) haven’t been posting about each other on social media lately; it’s because they have reportedly put their relationship on hold. According to E! News, the two have been on a break for the past few months shortly after they celebrated their first anniversary.
“Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves,” a source explained.
The two have also been filming separate movie projects: Camila has ‘Windfall’ and ‘Palm Springs’, while Charles has ‘Swing’ coming up. “They both have movie projects separately and it’s been a lot on both their plates,” the source said. “Nothing in particular happened, they just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them.”
