It’s been months since GMA Network’s long-running noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! went back on-air amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but fans have started to notice that certain beloved hosts have yet to make their appearance.
Among these hosts seemingly missing-in-action is Ruby Rodriguez who is currently spending time with her family in the US. A fan reached out to her via Instagram to ask why she has yet to show up in Eat Bulaga! and her response was, to be quite honest, very cryptic.

“I miss you in Eat Bulaga Ms.Rubs. Babalik ka pa ba? Sina Pia, Ryan, Allan K, ryzza Mae nakaka pitch in pero ikaw Wala! Bat Ganon? (Will you be coming back? Pia, Ryan, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae have pitched in but you haven’t. Why is that?)” the fan asked.
“Sila tanungin mo (Ask them instead),” Ruby replied.
Many netizens started expressing their concern for her and sent their well-wishes.
It is unclear why she responded that way and what the true meaning was behind her words.

Months ago, the Kapuso host was rushed to the hospital due to a stomach ailment and underwent surgery. She also lost her sister, Philippine Pediatric Society president Sally Gatchalian, to COVID-19.
