WHO: There are 102 potential COVID-19 vaccines being developed right now

The World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that there are 102 potential COVID-19 vaccines that scientists and researchers all over the world as working on right now, according to a post on the organization’s website.

From this lot, eight are already approved for clinical trials.

Four days ago, there are already seven vaccines approved for trial. This means one has been added and this group is from China. However, it is not clear yet if this new group has started trials on human study subjects but the other seven have.

Of the groups approved for clinical trials on humans, four are from China, one is from England, one is American and another is a combined American and European group.

The American National Institutes of Health (NIH) trial was the first to start testing in human trial subjects on March 16.
