‘Hercules’ is set to be the next Disney movie to be turned into a live-action movie and of course, netizens have a lot to say about it. On Twitter, people have already been casting their votes on who they think should take on the roles of our favorite ‘Hercules’ characters. Here are some of our favorite suggestions:
Here’s Who People Think Should Be Cast in the Live-Action Version of ‘Hercules’
Kellan Lutz or Zac Efron as Hercules
Some people on Twitter want to see a Hemsworth brother in the lead role, while others have even requested for KJ Apa. However, two of the best suggestions we’ve seen so far are Kellan Lutz and Zac Efron. Both have the bodies for it and we can already imagine them in Hercules garb with their arms bulging out. Yes, please!
Tom Holland as Young Hercules
Obviously, Young Hercules needs to be cast, too – and who could play him better than Tom Holland? His awkwardness as Peter Parker has shown us that he would be perfect for the younger version of the titular role. Don’t you agree?
Ariana Grande as Megara
Some people on Twitter are begging for Ariana Grande to be cast as Megara. This isn’t really that surprising since we have already heard her sing Meg’s song ‘I Won’t Say I’m in Love’ so perfectly recently. (Watch it here if you haven’t yet.) Plus, she pretty much already has Meg’s hairdo down.
Danny DeVito as Phil
I don’t think this really needs explaining.
Willem Dafoe as Hades
Tom Hiddleston is currently a huge favorite for the role of Hades, and we’re also loving the thought of Jeff Goldblum in the role. However, Willem Dafoe’s voice and acting chops seem to be the most perfect choice for us for this. What do you think?
Jonah Hill and Michael Cera as Pain and Panic
Someone said that Jonah Hill and Michael Cera should be cast as Pain and Panic, and we honestly can’t think of a better pair for the roles right now.
