Hey, WhatsApp users: have you ever sent a mortifying message to the wrong contact and immediately wanted to die? Or maybe you’ve gone on an impulsive text frenzy, only to immediately regret your emotionally laden messages afterward?
Fret no more, because WhatsApp could be rolling out this new feature that would save WhatsApp devotees from future embarrassment!
The popular messaging app is testing out their long-rumored “unsend” feature, which allows users to delete messages they’ve already sent.
The feature will offer users a five-minute window for users to revoke sent messages. Once the five-minute window expires, the message will be permanently stored.
Tech news say that WhatsApp may finally introduce the feature for real, depending on the feedback from the tests.
TBH, we can’t imagine why anyone would be opposed to this!
