So, in case you aren’t heartbroken enough after watching ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, James Gunn recently dropped a bomb that made the broken pieces of our heart shatter even further.

To refresh your memory (as if it needs refreshing), Groot looks at Rocket Raccoon right before he vanishes, saying what we simply understand as “I am Groot”. There are no subtitles as far as I remember… though my eyes might have been foggy from all of the tears by then, so don’t take my word for it. :p
Well, last weekend, a fan tweeted director James Gunn, asking what Groot’s last words were before he dissolved into dust along with a bunch of other Avengers.
