With the Supreme Court judgment ruling in favor of the burial of former president Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB), there have been mixed reactions about this. Some strongly disagree because they say it opens up the wounds caused by Martial Law era and it seems to rewrite history. Others say that it’s okay, that the LNMB is like any regular cemetery, and that we should just bury him to get it over with. Others also say that this can be the beginning of national “healing” but others say that this won’t heal the country as they show their disagreement with protests.
Some say that we should forgive but never forget. However, many are countering this by saying how can we forgive if they never apologized and asked for forgiveness.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN’s Karen Davila, Imee Marcos, eldest daughter of former President Marcos and former First Lady Imelda Marcos, said the following:
Will you say “sorry”, apoligize for what your father has done? https://t.co/6JyAl6lEqq

In line with this, a satirical tweet about the Marcoses went viral and it goes like this…
What do you think of that tweet? Do you agree or not? Why or why not?
