This space is just a third of the total floor area occupied by the venue. It’s so huge and full of exhibitors!
When in Manila, getting married is one of the most pivotal moments in a couple’s life. But then, there’s also the fuss that comes along with it: the costs, the venue, food, makeup, gown, decorations, guests, and the list goes on. With all the little details that need to be ironed out, it seems that the wedding couple might end up with more memories of putting together the event, rather than THE moment itself.
Welcome to the 18th Wedding and Debut Expo!
But that’s why we have the Weddings & Beyond Expo. The Weddings & Beyond Expo was held at the PICC Forums 1,2 and 3 last January 11-12, 2014. Through this event, soon-to-wed couples could find everything that they need in a single place. They could also take advantage of great discounts that were only possible when booking with suppliers during the expo.Â
Talented singers and musicians were also around to lend their talent.
The event brought together all of the key suppliers in the wedding and debut industry. Most of the exhibitors there were in the Video & Photography, Flower Arrangement, Makeup, and Wedding Gowns category. It was a really huge event and it took me 5 hours to visit all of the booths.
I also met alot of warm and friendly folks during the event.
I have 100+ photos from the event, but, unfortunately, it’s not possible to include all of them. So, instead, here are some photos representing each category. First up: the gowns. Ranging from the simplest to the most complicated in detail, some of them might take as long as 6 months or more to finish. Each gown is a masterpiece.

The wedding ring, a symbol of eternity. Many beautiful designs are available and start as low as P30,000. To make the rings more affordable, suppliers also offered discounts exclusively when purchases were made during the event.
Jewelry shops abound. You could choose from their ready-made offerings or have them customized only for you.
Wedding couples could choose from all sorts of flower arrangements with flowers coming from all around the globe.
Couples have a wide variety of food suppliers for their wedding: from traditional banquets to sweet drinks and snacks.
No wedding would be complete without an invitation. Couples can choose from over a hundred beautiful designs from their supplier of choice, but they can also create customised invitations, as well.Â
Invitations don’t have to be traditional and boring. Here, we also have many designs that will please your eyes.
Souvenirs for the guests are something to remember.
The best makeup artists out there… with their skilled hands, products and techniques. The couple will look their best throughout the day even during their most emotional moments.

The expo was also filled with video and photography services. A wedding is something to cherish for a lifetime, and we leave it to the skilled photographers to document the occasion.
Video and photography services are available in set packages but can also be customized.
Couples decide on their honeymoon venue after the wedding. With over a hundred destinations in the Philippines, their options are endless.
Couples can treat themselves to some pampering before and after the wedding.

Amusement and recreation are also part of the wedding itinerary.
Marriage paves the way for a new road. Some guidance and help would be nice.
Attending the Wedding & Beyond Expo was a wonderful experience for me the folks there were very warm and friendly, and they were more than happy to answer all of my inquiries. I also loved the huge discounts offered by the exhibitors exclusively during the event. Planning a wedding has never been this easy and hassle-free because everything you need is already found in the venue.
