Let’s paint portraits and galaxies this November 25th at Blacksoup Cafe in Maginhawa, Quezon City!
This beginner-friendly watercolor painting class is a great introduction to painting portraits as you will be taught how to: mix the primary colors to create skin tone and vibrant colors, use the basic techniques in creating whimsical effects, familiarize yourself with the planes of the head and face, and build value. Aside from that, you will also learn how to create galaxy textures and use them in your paintings.
The class is open for passionate watercolor enthusiasts who would like to learn something new and creative! No drawing skills required. Beginner to intermediate students are welcome!
Fee starts at 1,700 pesos only! This includes a booklet, watercolor papers, worksheets and painting guides – all of which you get to take home! Just add 400 pesos to your fee if you would like to include paints and brushes to your kit. Food and drink courtesy of Blacksoup Cafe will also be served to participants.
The class will be led by Ayeza Mallari, a self-taught watercolor portrait artist who hopes to make the journey to creating better watercolor portraits less rocky and more fun for students.
