Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman aren’t exactly new to the musical film genre. We’ve all seen them showcase their amazing musical abilities in the past. Next year, they are teaming up for the first time in an epic original musical film along with American music artist Zendaya.
“The Greatest Showman” is a musical biopic about P.T. Barnum, an American showman known for starting the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus–also known as The Greatest Show on Earth.
Known as the man who invented show business, P.T. Barnum was responsible for one of the greatest known traveling circuses in America which went around promoting talents and human curiosities.
The film follows P.T. as he struggles to chase his dream of creating a spectacle that will change the world.
A musical plus a circus?! This is sure to be one heck of a movie.

Indeed, we will be blessed yet again with Zac Efron’s singing and dancing, paired with Hugh Jackman’s display of his theatrical abilities, and Zendaya’s (surprising) acrobatic stunts along with her singing voice that we’re hoping will be heard.

I can just imagine the pure spectacle that this film will be!
The Greatest Showman is set to premiere this Christmas in the US. We’re hoping we can catch it in the country, too!
