Aladdin

If you still have not seen the live-action adaptation of Aladdin, we have great news for you: the cast of the movie joined host James Corden for his “Crosswalk the Musical” segment on the Late Late Show.

Watch it below:

In the clip, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith reprise their roles, singing “Friend Like Me,” “Prince Ali,” and “A Whole New World” on the crosswalks of Los Angeles. Corden joined them as the monkey Abu.

Aladdin tells the story of a street urchin named Aladdin who discovers a magic lamp that releases a genie that will grant him three wishes.

Massoud, Scott, and Smith co-star with Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Numan Acar as Jafar’s right-hand man Hakim, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, and Nasim Pedrad as Jasmine’s handmaiden Dalia.

The film was released on May 24, 2019. It received mixed reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes saying that it “retells its classic source material’s story with sufficient spectacle and skill, even if it never approaches the dazzling splendor of the animated original.”
