WATCH: Wes Anderson Narrates Original Storyboard of ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’

Award-winning filmmaker, Wes Anderson, has the best treat for fans during this quarantine.

Anderson recently released a 25-minute animated video of the original storyboards from his 2014 masterpiece The Grand Budapest Hotel in which he narrated what would be the film’s iconic moments, such as “Killing of Kovacs,” “Prison Escape,” and “Hotel Show-Down.”

Though devoid of the pastel colors we would eventually associate with the beloved movie, Anderson’s hand-drawn scenes perfectly captured his signature style of symmetry, long shots, pannings, and detailed set designs.

Anderson had garnered multiple nominations and accolades for The Grand Budapest Hotel from the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and the BAFTA Awards. He is set to premiere his newest film, The French Dispatch, soon.
