Christmas in the Philippines spans for a very long time. In fact, we Filipinos celebrate it from early September until late January. No wonder, we have been hailed as the country with the longest Christmas season. And, for Thomasians, this time of the year is indeed very important to celebrate since it is when they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Thus, Paskuhan became a tradition among UST students.

Last December 20 was 2017’s Paskuhan Day. With the theme King of Kings, the University of Santo Tomas had a Game of Thrones-centered celebration. The day-long celebration included a cosplay event, raffle draws and the Paskuhan fair. However, the thing that makes Paskuhan so special is the ever-so-famous band concert and fireworks display.

Here were the bands who rocked the concert with their amazing music that night:

Stonefree kicked-off this year’s Paskuhan concert to set the excitement among the Thomasians.

Ben&Ben serenaded the UST community with their songs such as Ride Home, Bibingka, Kathang Isip, and Leaves.

Silent Sanctuary also went to UST during the Paskuhan concert with Kundiman, Sayo, Bumalik ka na sa’kin and Ikaw lamang.

Callalily was the final act of the night, singing Stars, Magbalik, and Pansamantala.

To cap the event off, the ever-famous fireworks display was shared by the whole UST community, which you can watch right here:
