Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” may be the catchiest song of 2014. Admit it, there was a time when you caught yourself dancing to the infectious song. “Uptown Funk” is so danceable that a mashup of dance routines in 100 movies have been created to match the song.
The video, which spans the length of the tune, is filled with a variety of dance genres, from moonwalk, to disco and twerking. And it’s an eclectic mix. There are scenes from Napoleon Dynamite, Jerry Maguire, Despicable Me, Zoolander, Aladdin, Kung Fu Hustle, Slumdog Millionaire, Flashdance, Spiderman, and Magic Mike. And the editing is perfect.
