Marvel just dropped the newest teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok and it looks awesome.
The official synopsis reads:
Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilisation—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
The trailer shows Asgard under siege by the Asgardian goddess of death, Hela, played by the wonderful Cate Blanchett, adding another superstar name to a powerhouse cast. Hela is so powerful, she manages to crush Thor’s Mjolnir! And that’s not even the best part — Thor is made to go down in a gladiator battle against fellow Avenger, the Hulk!
Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and Idris Elba are returning to the Thor franchise as Loki, Odin, and Heimdall, respectively. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is also making an appearance, so this is definitely a film to look forward to! The film opens in November this year.
