WATCH: This recordable greeting card is probably the best Christmas gift ever

Christmas 2018 went by so fast.

Almost everyone has probably given and opened their gifts.

After watching this short clip on reddit posted by user named “Mantis_93”, I can say that this is probably the best gift that someone has given their family on Christmas. It just costs $20 (about P1000) but the reaction of the recipients is priceless.

Watch it below.

Recordable greeting card: $20. A 4-year-old voicemail: $0. Seeing my mom, aunt, and uncle hear their late mom wish them a Merry Christmas: PRICELESS from r/aww

According to OP, the gift was a “Recordable greeting card: $20. A 4-year-old voicemail: $0. Seeing my mom, aunt, and uncle hear their late mom wish them a Merry Christmas: PRICELESS”

The recorded voicemail was of their late mom saying, “This is nanay. Merry Christmas. I love you. God bless you. Okay, ba-bye.”

Apparently, OP intended the gift for their mom, aunt, and uncle. However, their grandpa was unexpectedly present when the gift was given. OP said, “What brought me to tears was when I saw the reaction of the guy in the black jacket. The gift was for my mom aunt and uncle and I didn’t plan on my grandpa being there and getting to hear his late wife again.”

On the card, the following message is written as read on the video:

Dear Mon, Tito Bong, and Tita Raquel

Mahal ko kayong mga anak ko. Pahalagahan at mahalin ninyo ang bawat oras na magkakasama kayo at magkikita kayo ulit sa ibang panahon.

Love,

Nanay

Merry Christmas. We love you and appreciate everything that you all do and the sacrifices you made for us.

Love,

Emmanuel, JR, (ate?)

OP said that they made the gift because “It was my first Christmas away from the family so I knew I had to send something special. My dad recorded this for me and sent it over this morning.”

Watching this melted my heart. Best Christmas gift hands down.
