What happens when you put the megastar Sharon Cuneta, bad boy Robin Padilla, and love team sensation Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto together? As the trailer for Unexpectedly Yours shows, cinematic magic.
The four actors will be together the Cathy Garcia Molina-helmed rom-com, where Cuneta and her daughter Barretto are wooed by Padilla and his nephew Garcia. The trailer (and the title) suggest that unexpected things may happen.

In the trailer, we see a drunk Cuneta walking along the hallway of a hotel. She accidentally goes in the wrong room, where she passes out in the arms of Padilla. In the next scene, we see Garcia pursuing Barretto while she’s jogging. Even if she rebuffs him, he goes on to court her.
Unexpectedly Yours plays tribute to two reunions: it will be the first film since Cuneta and Padilla appeared together in Pagdating ng Panahon in 2001. This is also the latest film of Barretto and Garcia, who appeared in the hits Vince, Kath, and James and Love You to the Stars and Back.
The film will premiere on November 29, 2017.
