It seemed like the superhero movie for the ages. Captain America: Civil War had Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man. But one question was on people’s minds: where was Thor? The Asgardian god of thunder and owner of the enchanted hammer Mjolnir was not part of the film, and now we know why.
In a spoof shared by Marvel Studios on Facebook, we find out what Thor has been up to while the rest of the gang are saving the world.
It turned out he’s living with a guy named Darryl Jacobson in Australia. He says, “I needed some me time. I came to Australia and that’s when I moved in with Darryl. I guess I wanted to just be around average everyday people and Darryl is an average sort of everyday guy, it works out well.”
But it doesn’t work out well for Darryl, who can’t vacuum because of Mjolnir, and who has to cut his work short so Thor can send an email to Tony Stark.
In a later scene, Thor is having coffee with Dr. Bruce Banner talking about pants.
