Chances are, you grew up playing with Trolls, those little dolls with hair in shocking colors standing on end. Well, there’s going to be a movie about it!
Trolls will be an animated feature, with voices by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake. They will be joined by Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand, Icona Pop, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Christine Baranski, John Cleese, Zooey Deschanel, Jeffrey Tambor, and Quvenzhané Wallis.
The story will follow Kendrick and Timberlake as they go “far beyond the only world they have ever known” to discover their strength and true colors.
To promote the film, Kendrick and Timberlake appeared at the 69th Cannes Film Festival to sing Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.”
Timberlake will also be the music’s executive producer. An original song called “Can’t Stop the Feeling” was recorded and released earlier this week. Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani will also contribute to the soundtrack.
Trolls is directed by Mike Mitchell, and will premiere on November 4, 2016.
