Marvel fans looking for something new have something to look forward to this November: the release of the first film adaption of Doctor Strange. And the trailer is here!
Doctor Strange follows surgeon Stephen Strange, who meets the Ancient One after a car accident and learns teleportation, energy harnessing, and environmental kaleidoscopery. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the doctor, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, and Mads Mikkelsen.
The character made his debut in 1963, inspired by the Chandu the Magician radio program in the 1930’s. Today, IGN ranked him 33rd in a list of the top 50 Avengers, while Wizard ranked him 83rd in their 200 greatest comic book characters of all-time list.
Doctor Strange will premiere on November 4, 2016.
