Coldplay and BTS just released the music video of their collab “My Universe” and we can’t stop watching it.
This comes just less than a week after the lyric video was launched.
Watch the music video below:
The clip is set in the future and both groups perform through HOLOBAND with the fictional band Supernova7. They are being hunted by “Silencers” because “music is forbidden across the spheres.”
The track, sung in both English and Korean, was written by Coldplay and BTS.
It was produced by Max Martin, who produced or co-produced hits such as Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” and more.
“My Universe” will be part of Coldplay’s forthcoming album Music Of The Spheres, which will be out October 15, 2021.
