In case you’re wondering why you’re seeing this status all over social media, today is Star Wars Day, in reference to its iconic line “May the force be with you.”
And to celebrate this day, we present you with a video of stormtroopers performing Earth songs.
The video is from Star Wars Weekends in 2014, an annual festival held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort.
Held every weekend in May and June, cast and crew members from the Star Wars franchise make appearances. This festival began in 1997 but took off in 2003.
In 2014, the stormtroopers performed their favorite Earth songs like “Let it Go,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Everything is Awesome” and “The Fox.”
