The teaser is right: Popoy and Basha’s relationship defined a generation. For millennials, the two’s broken partnership, painfully told in One More Chance, showed how relationships are fragile, but can be fixed if both parties work together. The film ended with the two of them getting back together.
That was in 2007. In 2015, those who believed in the film’s “three-month rule” are rejoicing because the film will have a sequel, entitled A Second Chance. A teaser was released early this month, showing how the two got married. It was a sweet video, with a touching message by John Lloyd Cruz for Bea Alonzo. But a new teaser was released this weekend, in time for One More Chance‘s eighth anniversary, and shows that everything is not as it seems with the couple.
In the video, an angry Popoy confronts a teary-eyed Basha. According to Basha, Popoy is caught hiding something. However, the trailer doesn’t mention what Popoy was caught doing.
The film is set to premiere on November 25, and is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
