When we talk about beauty queens there are always certain expectations that come into our minds–beauty, grace, chic outfits, and sophisticated activities. But, as times change, it has become apparent that even beauty queens had a “change” of “profession”–at least that’s what we saw on social media.
Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach were all in New York City this week for the celebration of the Philippine Independence Day along with the Filipino community in the area. I know, that’s too much beauty in one place.
The three beauty queens were in the city to be part of the parade that was held for the occasion. Yet, it seems that appearing for the parade wasn’t the only job they had to do in New York.
In this funny video posted online by Pia Wurtzbach herself, the beauty queens weren’t in their usual “royal” manner. This time, they were part of the security team for Jonas Gaffud, the president of Mercator Artists & Model Management!

Kylie, Megan, and Pia all took on the roles as Jonas’ security guards as they escorted him to his car. The queens were obviously enjoying this change in “profession” and were evidently really into it. They were complete with earpieces, sunglasses, and even codenames such as “World”, “International”, and “Queen Maker”.

Actually, they all looked good! We can definitely see these queens in spy roles like female James Bonds, or even as our very own Pinay Charlie’s Angels!
Maybe after their career as queens, they could take up this path, too!
