Four years after their last self-titled album, Paramore is back with a cool new sound.
The pop-punk band is currently on the British leg of their world tour promoting their latest album, After Laughter, as well as their current single, the 80’s synth pop-themed “Hard Times”. Hayley Williams and the gang stopped by the BBC Radio 1 studio, and did an awesome cover of Drake’s “Passionfruit”!
Paramore’s take on the Drake hit is really worth the listen, adding their own sound to the song while still keeping its essence. Abandoning their usual heavy sound, their version lays pretty thick on the guitar licks, with Hayley’s vocals providing a sweet, soulful side.
