Is nowhere safe anymore? This video posted by Pauline Picoc shows how she and her friends were seemingly having a good time eating when out of nowhere, some guy just gets off of a motorcycle (the motorcycle driver stays on and waits for his accomplice), scares them with a gun, grabs their stuff and leaves.

Just a simple night with my friends, (Bodi, Dayanara, Gian & Amanda) until this happened. We went to church then decided to eat.
Nov. 15, 2015. Around 8:00 pm. Kanina lang actually. Kumakaen kami sa Yvan Navy N.S. Amoranto branch, Retiro. Tapos bigla nalang tong nangyari. May bumabang lalaki sa motor, tapos bigla nalang tinutok yung baril samin. Nakuha samin: dalawang cellphone at isang bag. Thankful nalang kami kasi walang nasaktan samin. Na-report na namin sa pulis. Nakuha nanamin tong CCTV. At para sa mga kumag na yun. YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.
[Rough translation: We were eating at Yvan Navy N.S. Amoranto branch, Retiro. And then this happened. Someone got off of a motorcycle and then suddenly pointed a gun at us. He got two cellphones and a bag from us. Thankfully, nobody got hurt. We already told the police. We got this CCTV footage.]

Some people think that more crimes like this are happening because the holidays are near. Regardless of what time of year it is, though, please always be careful. Keep your valuables out of sight whenever you are in public and always remember to put your health and safety first.
